Batter: Smedes Batter Mix Beer
Batter Ratio: 500gr Smedes Batter Mix | 600ml Water
Preparation method
- Brown the meat with salt and pepper
- Cut the potato and some of the carrots into wedges
- Crush the garlic and add it to the bay leaf and coriander seeds
- Add the potatoes and some of the carrots
- Deglaze everything with red wine, demi glace and Guinness and let it simmer gently for 6 to 8 hours
- Mix the Smedes Batter Mix with water
- Cut the onion into rings and dip into the batter and fry
- Cut the remaining carrot into strips, dip them in the Smedes Batter Mix and fry them
